OK, I've tried to split the guys roughly into units. Of course, this'll all go to shit once the fighting starts but it'd be nice to try and start the day with some sort of organisation.

Yith, are you happy with this? You seem to have been raped of Brits!

If possible can we try and drop the guys in sticks like below so they can then split up if necessary.

Brits/US Combined Force:
1 Cpt Yith - Commando
2 Cpl Pete Grice - UK Airborne

3 Luke Morgan - UK Airborne
5 Martin Lewis - US 3rd Infantry
7 Ross Timney - US 3rd Infantry
7 Simon Waller - US 3rd Infantry
8 Tom Pritchard - US 3rd Infantry
9 James Dobson - US 69th Infantry
10 Dan Mackay - US 69th Infantry

US 1st Stick:
1 Cpt Headshot - 82nd Airborne
2 Cpl Rhys Davis - 82nd Airborne

3 Ranjit - 82nd Airborne
4 Craig McManus - UK Airborne
5 Craig Boniface - 101st Airborne
6 Jim Cooper - 101st Airborne
7 Tom Ham - 101st Airborne
8 Nick Daniells - 101st Airborne
9 Zak Darcy - 101st Airborne

US 2nd Stick:
1 Cpt Barry Quin - US Airborne
2 Cpl Matthew Webb - 82nd Airborne

3 Anne Quin - US Airborne
4 Heather Shuker - US Airborne
5 Spiers - 101st Airborne
6 Steve Davis - US 35th Infantry
7 Nigel Kerr - US 35th Infantry
8 Mark Stevens - 101st Airborne
9 Nicky Lloyd - 101st Airborne

Jeez it's all Septics !! Is Airborrne 55 not a UK lad ?

I've talked to Craig and he's okay with being put in a separate squad from Rhys if needs be... He'd prefer to stay with him though if possible.

What do you say?

Already spoken to Rhys about it.

The issue is then splitting up the four 3rd or two 69th Infantry guys who have booked on together.

The alternative is to have 10 in your squad and 8 in mine.

Like I said, we're all going to get split up throughout the days anyway.

Lets sort this out on the day, we know we're going to get some more no-shows... its inevitable... especially considering the upcoming weather...

Don't mention any fixed squads for now...

Indeed. Like I've posted in the private forum, this is mainly a way to organise at the beginning of the day and whenever there's a chance to regroup.

That way three guys are responsible for ensuring everyone's present and listening.

Assofters - can't kick them, can't shoot them .

A few years ago I once dropped Mk5s behind "my own" retreating bunch of noobs tasked to me at an open day to encourage them to run faster towards the objective. It worked and they didn't realise it was me either .
Fandabbydosey !

I once shot a guy on my team in the back (on purpose) because he was facing away from the enemy, firing at someone on his own team who was about 20m out of range.

Fireball - where wonders never cease.

Saw this from Andy T

still not sure that I'll be able to attendthe event (-Fathers funeral tomorrow and I'm not really thinking of anything else much).

However if I do come it'd be a Tommy and a Colt 1911.
(Can also bring several swords, daggers and halbards if you fancy clatting the Germans....)

A bit sad and one to bear in mind if he makes it .

Yep, I've left him off the list for now but will include into my squad if he turns up.

Edit: I've also PMd him to let him know that there's a place for him on the Allied side should be feel able to attend.

Yep.

BTW Yith, anyone you'd prefer as 2i/c from the current attendees? I'd go for Morgs or Dan Mackay, they seem to have their shit together.

I've deleted Warlocks whining about the weather . It's a bit underhand, but I dont want any wanker starting a panic so we get loads of no shows no the ground that "no one else is going"

I've put too much time effort and money into this event ot have any cnut fuck it up now . If it's raining , tough shit , no ones going to shrink or die .
